Nonconformist thirty-somethings reject the bright tidiness of corporate delis, while the college crowd packs in for crispy oven-toasted sandwiches (with hemp cream cheese) under the relaxed gaze of Dave Matthews posters. This joint offers a bare-bones atmosphere that's tailored for the munchie run--eaten in or taken out. The Jamaican Red is a well-known favorite--drenched in a peppery red sauce that's worth the mess.
