Why That 70’s Show’s favorite restaurant should be The Cheba Hut:
The show: Groovy comedy about Wisconsin kids hanging out in bell bottoms in a basement trying to cure their munchies. Season debuts
Nov. 2 on Fox.
The restaurant: Cheba Hut, 1710 W. Southern Ave., Mesa,
(480) 649-7827, or 960 W. University Drive, Tempe, (480) 446-0088.
Why: With its slogan “Where the only thing fried is an occasional
customer,” Kelso (Ashton Kutcher) and the crew would totally dig this toasted sub shop. Sandwich sizes include nugs, pinners and blunts,
they make hemp brownies (yep, they’re legal), and soup choices
include “Ganja.”
