MUNCHIES? TRY CHEBA HUT

Good morning, Readers, and welcome to our game. Here we go. What is the theme of this restaurant, where the menu includes the following terms: cheba, homegrown, munchies, "majic" mushrooms, hemp?

If you were unable to answer, go back to college. The University of New Mexico and New Mexico State University campuses are about to have Cheba Hut Toasted Subs within smoke-blowing distance. The UNM location is due by late August; the NMSU site in early '09. No addresses were given.

Word on the Web is the Tempe, Ariz.-based chain once had a delivery van with a papier-maché doobie on top. People say the food is good too. Vegetarian, toasted, grilled chicken and old school subs; Fresh Herbs (salad) and Homegrown Soups bring the hungry nosher to the Incredible Munchies— Oreo cheesecake, the Stickie Ickie, a Coco Krispie Bar and Hemp Brownies, among other craving-calmers. Pig out, man.

The restaurants are being opened by Geno Chavez and Todd Tabet, of Smokin' Aces Inc. For further information, call (480) 773-0644.
