Local Franchisees Awarded Area Developer Rights

TEMPE. AZ. (October 25, 2007) - Cheba Hut “Toasted” Subs, the marijuana themed sandwich chain recently signed a three store development deal with Herb N Dwellers, an Arizona LLC owned by Kathy and Dorian Lenz of Queen Creek, AZ. The Lenzes have been Cheba Hut Franchisees since 2004 and currently own the Mesa, AZ. location near Mesa Community College.

The Area Development deal which was signed in September, calls for three new stores to open in Arizona by March 31, 2009. The first location will open in Glendale across from Glendale Community College at 59th Ave. and Olive. The Glendale location has an estimated opening date of February 1, 2008. The additional two locations will be in Flagstaff, near NAU and in S. Scottsdale.

With the opening of the Glendale location, Cheba Hut will have 7 stores open system wide in Arizona and Colorado. Additional locations are being pursued in Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, and Oregon.
